Substance Abuse Services

Substance Abuse Assessments

Comprehensive substance abuse assessments are conducted by a licensed and certified substance abuse counselor in order to determine level of care appropriate to meet the needs of the person. A structured interview is conducted utilizing the Addiction Severity Index, a Level of Care Indicator, with treatment recommendations offered.

Intensive Outpatient Program

Substance Abuse Treatment Program designed to meet the treatment needs of persons who are dependent on alcohol and/or other substances, and who may suffer from a co-occurring mental health issue and substance abuse concern. The program includes a minimum of nine hours of group education and counseling, scheduled on three days per week, to include one hour of individual counseling, with family counseling, on an as needed basis.

Relapse Prevention Program

Substance Abuse Treatment designed to meet the treatment needs of persons who are no longer abusing substances but continue to need support to remain substance free. Relapse Prevention Groups meet for two hours per week with weekly or monthly individual counseling sessions according to the individual substance abuse and mental health needs of the client.


THRIVE Youth Substance Abuse Treatment Program

Substance Abuse Treatment Program designed to meet the treatment needs of youth who are using alcohol and other substances. It is designed as an after-school program, scheduled on two days per week, with transportation provided. THRIVE offers an Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program as well as individual, family and group counseling. The program will encourage peer support and mentoring, community engagement, vocational awareness, creative expression, while encouraging healthy lifestyle behaviors. Random urine drug screens will be conducted to support accountability and monitor treatment progress.


Vivitrol Treatment Program

Vivitrol is an injectable form of Naltrexone, a medication used to treat Opiate and Alcohol Dependence. After an initial evaluation is conducted to determine program eligibility, monthly medical appointments are scheduled in order to deliver the intramuscular injection. Individual and/or group counseling is included as a key component of the Vivtrol Treatment Program.
